NSFW Streams on Kick
According to the guidelines, Kick prohibits all live streams and videos that contain nudity, sexual activity, or pornography. Yet, you can still find some mature and NSFW content on this platform. As you may know, gambling content is also available and it is among the most popular categories.
For a content creator to stream such material, they must label it as 18+. This tag must be in place for broadcasts of drinking alcohol, smoking, game nudity, 18+ rated games, excessive profanities, etc.
Here we must also mention that Kick bans harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats, and racial slurs. Recently, the operator added options to hide the NSFW and gambling content for the website. They are available in the “Settings” section of your profile.
Kick’s NSFW Stories
Many question the actions Kick takes when content creators break the guidelines regarding NSFW streams. This comes after several streamers didn’t face any repercussions for breaking the rules. It was especially a problem in the beginning, where there seemed to be no moderation at all.
One such stream occurred on February 21, during a live broadcast by popular creator Adin Ross. He opened a pornographic site and showed it to his viewers.
Many believe that Ross was just trying to show off to his followers that he could do anything and not get penalized. And, if you were wondering, Kick didn’t ban or discipline the streamer for breaking the terms of service.
A few days later, on February 23, a streamer named Michael Peters, aka Heelmike, also broadcasted an NSFW material. He went live to an audience of over 27,000 and showed a girl who was giving him oral pleasure.
Kick did manage to ban him for his actions, but it only lasted for one day. After the incident, Heelmike tweeted about how good this platform was for reaching out and telling what was wrong.
There is another streamer called Suspendas who allegedly had sex during a Kick stream. The incident happened on December 27, when the viewers saw him completely naked.
Afterwards, he didn’t receive a ban or a warning for his actions. People have been accusing Suspendas of having sex with an alleged prostitute during a stream in the past.
Recent Moderations
Although the rules are very loose on the NSFW streams, Kick is slowly trying to put things in control. On April 13, the management decided to increase the moderation of such live broadcasts. These actions come regarding Apple’s App Store policy.
The new rules prohibit sexual activities for subs of money, such as twerking. Next up, streamers mustn’t wear lingerie, underwear, or pasties. However, they can dress in swimwear or bikinis.
