4 Times Famous Streamers Caused Huge Scandals

Viewing live gaming broadcasts on streaming platforms is super entertaining based on two facts the actual gaming action and the commentating style. However, there are some other activities that raise the fans’ interest in the streamers.

We are of course pointing to the streamers’ actions on and off the screen. In this article, you will read about the four famous streamers that made huge controversies in the past.

JayStation

If you aren’t familiar with JayStation and his work, then you should know that he is a former YouTuber. JayStation began his career on the popular video-sharing platform in 2015, but it didn’t last long.

The police arrested him multiple times over the course of 4 years, where the last one was an extremely bizarre one. He uploaded a YouTube video where he announced that a drunk driver killed his girlfriend. Then the video shows him visiting her memorial on the side of the road.

However, the story doesn’t end there, as three days later he posted another video where he uses an Ouija board to contact her. SomeOrdineryGamers and some other YouTubers then revealed that it was all a hoax.

Even Alexia Marano published a video showing that she is alive and well. In the end, JayStation’s YouTube channel got deleted and the pair have broken up.

PewDiePie

PewDiePie is one of the most famous YouTubers on the platform with around 111 million subscribers. In a video, he announced that the found an interesting website called Fiverr where you can ask anyone to do anything for $5.

The video starts pretty normally, but then he came across a few guys in a jungle who would hold up a sign with 5 words for the same amount. As a joke, PewDiePie decided to write an antisemitic message to see if they would actually do it.

In the end, they do exactly as he asks of them. This backlashed in the media and resulted in Disney dropping PewDiePie from their network. Other major companies have also pulled out from the platform.

Ned Fulmer

Next up, is Ned Fulmer, who is a former member of the Try Guys, a YouTuber, and a comedian. Fulmer’s career went downhill when a picture of him kissing a colleague went viral. Now, he was a married man with 2 children during this incident. But, he and his wife manage to overcome it and are still together.

However, as this scandal was so big at the time, the Try Guys decided to fire him from his position in the group. The reason behind this major embarrassment is the fact that people saw Fulmer as a nice guy that always talked about his wife.

Sam Pepper

Lastly, we have an English internet personality and YouTuber Sam Pepper. He too went to extreme lengths just to get more views and followers on his channel. In a video, he pranks one friend by “killing” his best friend in front of him just to see his reaction.

The prank went viral but it also received a lot of backlash from the public. As a result of the bad comments, he created a go fund donation page requesting $1.5 million to delete his channel.

However, the negative comments kept on coming and forced him to remove all of his videos from YouTube and publish an apology video. Now, he is pretty famous on TikTok, but his YouTube channel didn’t recover from all the drama and hate.
